The closest thing I can compare Rec Room to is a virtual reality version of The Sims. You'll be able to chat with your friends, build stuff, play games, and hangout in a variety of different rooms. You may find yourself in a space station, a medieval castle, or a pirate ship.

The game will ship with a few different activities, including paintball, disc golf, and a bunch of different ways to play cards. There will also be a number of mini-games and arcade-style experiences, and the developers say the game will be constantly updated with new stuff.
